Kilowatt & Kilometre

The quarterly bulletin

Four issues a year, roughly 1,400 words each. Every issue carries the same three items: what moved in federal and provincial funding, one measurement from our own files, and one depot problem worked through from symptom to fix.

Written for the person who actually signs off on the fleet budget. No sales sequence, no tracking pixels, no third-party sharing.

Recent issues

  • No. 38, July 2026 — What a demand ratchet actually costs a depot that charges four nights a week.
  • No. 37, April 2026 — Three years of battery state-of-health data from vans we logged in 2023.
  • No. 36, January 2026 — Why the second charger is usually cheaper than the first, and how to plan for it.
  • No. 35, October 2025 — Reading a utility load letter without an engineering degree.
