1. Use of this site

This website is operated by Sprour Advisory Inc., a company incorporated in Nova Scotia. By using it you accept these terms. We may revise them; the version in force is the one published here, and material changes are noted in the version line at the foot of this page.

2. Published documents

Documents on the reference desk are provided free of charge. You may download, print and circulate them within your organisation, quote from them in internal and public reports, and adapt the Depot Load Estimator spreadsheet for your own modelling.

You may not sell them, incorporate them into a paid product, or republish them under another party’s name or branding. Where a figure or method is quoted publicly, please cite the document title and edition, and carry the stated sample size with the figure.

3. No professional reliance

Material on this site is general information. It is not engineering advice, financial advice or legal advice, and no adviser-client relationship is created by reading it or by corresponding with us before an engagement agreement is signed. Decisions about electrical service, vehicle procurement or capital expenditure should be taken on advice specific to your circumstances.

4. Figures and estimates

Costs, savings, ranges and lead times on this site are drawn from completed engagements and are stated in Canadian dollars, exclusive of applicable taxes, at the date shown. They describe the fleets we measured, not a promise about yours. Fee levels are starting points for a defined scope and may change; the figure that binds is the one in a signed engagement agreement.

5. Intellectual property

The Sprour name, wordmark, illustrations, method documentation and site design are the property of Sprour Advisory Inc. Client data supplied to us during an engagement remains the property of the client at all times.

6. External links

We link to utilities, funding programmes and standards bodies where it helps. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

7. Liability

This site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Sprour Advisory Inc. is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Liability arising from a paid engagement is governed by that engagement agreement, not by this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Disputes fall to the courts of Nova Scotia.

9. Accessibility statement

Sprour is committed to a website usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, magnification, keyboard-only navigation or reduced-motion settings.

What we have done

• Built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, level AA, as a working target.
• Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark, labelled navigation and a skip link on every page.
• Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator that meets contrast requirements.
• Text and interface colours tested against WCAG contrast thresholds; colour is never the only means of conveying information.
• Every illustration and chart carries a title and a text description of what the data shows, so no finding is available only visually.
• Animation is limited to one ambient element and scroll reveals, both disabled automatically when a visitor’s system requests reduced motion.
• Text reflows to 320 px width and remains readable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

The locator sketch on the contact page is a simplified drawing rather than an interactive map; the full address, transit directions and step-free entrance details are given in text alongside it. Some downloadable documents on the reference desk are older PDFs whose tagging is incomplete — we are remediating these and will supply an accessible version of any document on request, at no charge, within five business days.

Reporting a barrier

If any part of this site or of a document we have supplied prevents you from getting what you need, write to info@sprour.info or call (902) 555-0148. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to provide the information in an alternate format promptly, whatever the state of the fix.

Documents required in French, in large print, or as accessible plain text are supplied on request at no charge.
